Snoring vs. Sleep Apnea
Not everyone who snores has sleep apnea, but almost everyone with sleep apnea snores. Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) occurs when the muscles in the back of your throat relax too much to allow normal breathing.
Common Warning Signs:
- Excessive daytime sleepiness.
- Morning headaches.
- Waking up with a very sore or dry throat.
- Irritability or difficulty concentrating.
